This rare Victoiran era 18kt gold ring features a mine cut diamond in a flower-like 6-prong setting. The gold setting is adorned with hand engraved designs between diamond shaped "facets". The inside of the band is stamped "18" for 18kt gold. We have also verified the 18kt by testing. The ring size is 5 1/2. Overall the condition is very good, with age appropriate wear. The mine cut diamond is a somewhat assymetric oval as was typical of the period. The color of the diamond is near colorless and the cut very good. There are only a couple of needle inclusions visible under magnification-- otherwise extremely clean. It has brilliant sparkle and a white color.
